day-to-day head of Pesvebi Inc. as a dynamic and growing company. Recipient of numerous

As a creative and successful leader of “PESVEBI” since 2001, Ivan is an ethnomusicologist
trained in Georgia, he sings, plays and teaches more than 12 instruments including traditional
string, wind and percussion instruments, he leads the “PESVEBI” live musicians as part of
Pesvebi dance and music performances, through his vast knowledge of the history of Georgian
folk music, his high standards of performance have helped develop Pesvebi’s fine reputation in
Georgia as well as throughout the U.S. Georgian community
